The Surf City Pier is a GREAT place to fish or take a stroll on the boards and have an up close and personal look at the ocean.  Located in the heart of Surf City on South Shore Drive, the Surf City Pier is a favorite of local and visiting fisherman alike.  Completely rebuilt in 1997, the pier is 937 feet long and is open from mid-March until December.  For more information call the pier house at (910) 328-3521.  Check out their new web site: Surf City Ocean Pier
